VietNamNet Bridge – In the last two days, the Hoai River’s water level rose highly, causing severe flooding in many streets of Hoi An ancient town in Quang Nam province.
Typhoon Nari made landfall in the Central Region on October 15. Many areas in the ancient town of Hoi An was sunken, many roads along the river were divided.
Some boats in the Hoai River sank were sunken.
Along Bach Dang Road, flood is 0.5 to 0.7 m deep, making travel very difficult.
According to local residents, the ancient town was flooded by water discharged from reservoirs of hydro-power plants.
