After winning an Olympic gold medal in 2016, Vinh retained the top place for more than one year, but failed in recent international tournaments and has fallen one place.
Japanese Matsuda Tomoyuki has risen to the No 1 seat. He was voted best shooter in 2017, according to the International Shooting Sport Federation.
Vinh’s teammate Tran Quoc Cuong is at No 13.
