The 33-year-old encouraged young students to make greater efforts and continue to nurture their passion for filmmaking to achieve outstanding success in the future.
During the interesting talk, he said students should be honest with themselves and people around and should never give up.
The tourism ambassador of Vietnam will serve as a judge of a 48-hour filmmaking competition which will take place from June 9-11 on both Hanoi and Saigon South campuses of RMIT Vietnam.
The opening ceremony of the contest is expected to be held on June 9 on the Hanoi campus.
The contest will be open to young filmmakers and those having passion for film and arts.
The Hollywood director was picked as the tourism ambassador of Vietnam for three years, from 2017 to 2020, to promote tourism in Quang Binh Province and the country as a whole.
