On January 6, the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) launched the 2025 Sao Khue Awards in Hanoi.

Focus on quality and diversity

Speaking at the launch, Nguyen Thi Thu Giang, Vice President and General Secretary of VINASA, emphasized that the awards have been updated to reflect global standards. The new criteria aim to enhance the quality of technological solutions, align with socio-economic development goals, and make it easier for the market to identify outstanding innovations.

“With over 300 nominations annually, the Sao Khue Awards reflect the comprehensive development of Vietnam's digital technology market,” Giang noted.

This 22nd edition of the awards will recognize excellence in nine major categories:

Government and public sector – Honors IT products, platforms, services, and solutions that improve public administration and service quality.

Community and citizens – Awards products and solutions that enhance culture, quality of life, welfare, health, and education while addressing the digital divide.

Enterprise management – Recognizes IT solutions that improve business operations, management, and competitiveness across industries.

Economy and industry – Highlights IT innovations that drive automation, competitiveness, and efficiency in key economic and industrial sectors.

Market and consumer – Celebrates solutions fostering consumer markets with a focus on rapidly evolving industries in the digital age.

Digital infrastructure and technology – Acknowledges advanced IT infrastructure and solutions utilizing cutting-edge technologies.

Innovation – Recognizes platforms, solutions, and startups implementing groundbreaking methods and technologies.

New products and solutions – Awards first-of-their-kind digital platforms and solutions, opening new business opportunities.

Digital services – Honors outstanding digital services promoting digital transformation.

Recognizing excellence and boosting innovation

The awards will accept submissions until March 20, exclusively through the online portal at dangky.giaithuongsaokhue.vn. Winners will be announced and celebrated at a ceremony on April 19 in Hanoi.

A new feature of the 2025 Sao Khue Awards is enhanced support for winners, including roadshows promoting digital transformation in various localities, themed talk shows and podcasts, and exposure at major technology events organized by VINASA.

Since its inception, the Sao Khue Awards have honored 1,715 outstanding individuals, enterprises, and IT solutions. The awards serve as a platform to elevate Vietnamese software products, promote them domestically and internationally, and guide the digital technology market’s development trends.

VINASA highlighted that in recent years, with Vietnam's push for national digital transformation, 150–180 platforms, solutions, and services have been recognized annually. The Sao Khue Awards will continue to fulfill its mission of identifying, honoring, and connecting exceptional technological innovations with businesses and citizens alike.
