Before the embers cooled after the 15-hour fire at the factory of Texthong Yinlong in Hai Yen Industrial Park, the Mong Cai People’s Committe held a press conference to announce the first findings.

At 2 AM today, on April 4, the fire spread along a thousand square metres at Texhong Yinlong Technology Limited’s factory No.4, in Hai Yen Industrial Park, in Mong Cai city of Quang Ninh province.

Vu Van Kinh, chairman of the city’s People’s Committee informed that the fire has been extinguished before today evening. During the fire, leaders of the city and industrial park’s management unit, relevant departments and agencies arrived to the scene to direct firefighting activities and determine the reasons behind the inferno.

Mong Cai city also asked Dongxing city of China’s Guangxi province for support. Nine fire engine, two water sprayers, two excavators, and 60 Chinese firefighters were sent to Hai Yen IP to combat the fire.

The company has a professional firefighter team including 23 people. Hai Yen IP, which was built by Viglacera Corporation-JSC also has two water tanks with the capacity of 1,500cu.m to support firefighting.
