The district people’s committee held a festival themed “Wet rice quintessence” on April 21 attracting participation of over 200 students from schools in the province.

In a ripe rice field in Duc Tan commune, the children harvested rice, caught fish and created straw effigies.

Chairman of the district People’s Committee Tran Van Man said that through the festival, the district wants to develop community tourism model and mobilize residents to participate in local tourist activities to increase income.
