Litchi season begins in May and ends in July every year. Visitors to Bac Giang in peak season can expect a spectacle, roads are full of vehicles filled with litchi and the delicious fruit is everywhere you look.
In local markets, there are thousands of motorbikes transporting litchi from Bac Giang to nearby localities. Traders often gather at Kim-Kep town in Luc Ngan district to purchase litchi and send to other regions nationwide.
This year Vietnam begins to export litchis to Australia, Japan, USA and some other countries. The fruit is also available on flights of Vietnam Airlines.
