Typhoon Nari moved to Laos yesterday but heavy rains and upstream water make houses along the highway in the districts of Phu Vang, Phu Loc, Phong Dien and Quang Dien in Thua Thien - Hue deeply submerged.

At the noodle shop at Le Do - Tran Cao Van intersection, many people lined to buy noodles for dinner. The signboard of this shop was destroyed by the storm. In many areas, power and safe water were not provided yet so people buy processed food for their dinner.

 

 

Last night, most areas in Quang Nam province did not have electricity yet so all activities took place in the light of oil lamps or candles. Mr. Thanh in Tien Phuoc district, Quang Nam province said he did not sleep for a second on the night of October 14 but his house lost the roof and assets were damaged. "Our beds are wet and damaged so tonight we will not have any place to sleep. Anyway we were not in the mood to sleep. Our family will take instant noodles for dinner," he said.
