Cyclonic storm Nari, the 11th hit Vietnam this year, had taken the lives of 27 people and caused economic losses of nearly 1.6 trillion VND in the central region.

VietNamNet Bridge - Total fatalities from tropical storm Nari and following floods in the central region have climbed to 10, according to the Central Steering Committee for Flood and Storm Control on October 17.
Flooding rose quickly after typhoon Nari on the morning of October 15, causing severe floods in many areas. After the storm, people in the provinces of Thua Thien - Hue, Da Nang and Quang Nam cleaned up and roof their houses.
VietNamNet Bridge - At least three people were killed in Quang Nam and 11 others injured in Danang when typhoon Nari, packing winds of up to 150kph, battered central provinces early on October 15.
According to the National Hydro Meteorological Forecasting Center, the latest tropical storm ‘Nari’ is likely to hit Da Nang City by Monday evening.
