VietNamNet Bridge – The facade of the Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts became the surface for giant light paintings on Saturday evening, November 14, reflecting Vietnam - Germany the cultural exchange.
The Core, a team of projection experts and lighting designers from Germany, used video mapping to put the façade of the Vietnam National Fine Arts Museum in Hanoi in the limelight.
The show included light projections from the Festival of Lights in Berlin and the Urban Art Forms Festival in Graz, Austria.
The Core consists of media experts and light designers Rick Kay, Chris Noelle and Jörg Reinauer, and focuses on visual installations, according to the organizer.
After having worked together on space and club design concepts for Berlin club Tresor for a long time, they decided to concentrate their knowledge and visions in one joint team. Over the past two decades, The Core successfully developed projection and light design concepts with a goal of redefining urban space through individuality and industrial style.
The performance was part of the series of activities on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Vietnam - Germany diplomatic ties in 2015.
Despite the rain, a large number of Vietnamese and foreigners were present at the museum courtyard to wait for the show.
