Holi, the festival of colours, is a traditional festival celebrated by Hindus in India and several other countries. Those who joined the event in Hanoi on March 19 were treated to an array of Indian dishes and had the chance to throw colourful powder at each other.



The 2017 Holi Festival took place at Kinder Park in Hanoi on March 19, attracting thousands of participants. 





The Hindu festival of colours – commonly referred to as the festival of love – celebrates the coming of spring and the triumph of good over evil.





The festival is famous for paint-throwing revellers showering each other with colour, representing a tradition that is both meant to reflect the rainbow of colours of springtime and the playfulness of the Hindu God Vishnu.






This is the fifth time the event was held in Hanoi, which offers many interesting experiences for visitors.
