The launch is likely to take place on September 13. At this event, besides the iPhone 14 series, the new iPad 10.2, the new Apple Watch and possibly the iPad Pro with the new M2 chip will be presented.

It is said that Apple will launch four smartphone models including iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max.

As usual, new iPhone models will be available for sale about 10 days after the launch event. Apple often prioritizes early sales in some of its major strategic markets such as the US, Europe, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, and Japan.

Those wishing to buy new iPhones in Vietnam usually have to wait for 4-5 weeks after the launch event. However, this year the time will be significantly shortened.

A media representative of a large tech retail chain told VietNamNet that it is likely that iPhone 14 will be sold in Vietnam after the launch about 3 weeks. This also means that iPhone 14 will appear in Vietnam in mid-October.

Previously, Vietnam was classified as a 4-5 tier market by Apple but now its position has been raised to level 3 by Apple and will be upgraded to level 2 in the near future.

Once it reaches “tier” 1, the first Apple stores will be set up in Vietnam. Apple is taking steps to prepare for this, specifically "setting up a marketing department in Vietnam," this person said.

At the same time, Apple is working more closely with resellers and distributors to launch sales or promotions programs with great discounts.

With these moves, iPhone users in Vietnam will be the group to will benefit the most due to the change in market approach from Apple.
