The company made the announcement after signing an agreement on human resource training and recruitment last week, saying that it would offer six-month internships for 500 final-year students at automobile manufacturing companies in Japan.
Earlier, three Japanese companies including the Japan Material Engineering Services Company, Auto Avenue and Sakura service company also agreed to bring 200 students from the college to work in electronics, engineering, controls and automation for the Japanese labour market.
Employment service companies from Germany, Japan and Singapore have agreed to employ 3,000 graduates from the college to work in hospitality, nursing, and construction industries.
More than 100 graduates from the college have been working in nursing centres and hospitality in Japan since 2016.
Dong A College is the only education centre in central Vietnam providing human resources for the Japanese labour market.
Last year, the college, in co-operation with the Viet Nam Automobile Manufacturing Association (VAMA), began the first ever course on automobile technology and automation engineering in the central region.
In 2016, Da Nang-based FPT Software company started its 10,000-Bridge Software Engineer (BrSE) programme in order to boost its presence in the Japanese market by 2020.
According to FPT Software, 23.3 per cent of Japanese businesses choose Việt Nam as the second outsourced service provider in the world.
Japan needs 60,000 information technology engineers by 2020, of which 10,000 will come from Vietnam and India.
