Nguyen Thị Nhan has won Vietnam’s 10th slot to compete at the upcoming Brazilian Paralympic Games later this year.

National Paralympics Committee for Vietnam’s Vu The Phiet has confirmed the news with journalists.

Long jumper Nhan will compete in the T11 category for visually impaired competitors.

Nhan has been training in athletics for nearly 10 years. She grabbed a gold medal at the regional Para Games in 2014 in Singapore, a bronze at the Para Games in 2011 in Indonesia, as well as many titles at different international competitions.

Previously, two track-and-field athletes earned their places together with four swimmers and three power lifters.
