The Vietnamese team won three gold, three silver and two bronze medals at the World Junior Xiangqi Championship, which closed in Germany.

Titles went to Nguyen Huong Giang in the girl’s U10 class, Van Diep Bao Duy in the boy’s U13 pool and Kieu Bich Thuy in the girls U16 category.

Lam Bao Quoc Anh (boy’s U13), Do Viet Ha (girl’s U13) and Lai Quynh Tien (girl’s U16) were awarded silver medals.

The bronze medals belonged to Phi Trong Hieu (boy’s U16) and Nguyen Phuong Anh (girl’s U10).
