Khanh Phuong has been chosen to compete at the Miss Supranational 2017 pageant scheduled for November 15 - December 2 in Slovakia and Poland.

Pham Kim Dung, representative of the unit holding the right to select the Vietnamese representative for the Miss Supranational pageant, said Khanh Phuong was a suitable contestant with a good figure. 

She has experience from competing in Miss Sea Vietnam 2016 beauty contest and she is confident and fluent in English.

Khanh Phuong, 22, is 1.68 meters tall, weighs 55kg and measures 90-68-100. She is currently studying in the business management faculty at Nha Trang University. She was the second runner-up at Miss Sea Vietnam 2016 pageant.

After the pageant, she participated in charity activities and practiced acting, singing, and dancing skills.

The Miss Supranational pageant has been launched in Płock City, Poland since 2009, drawing the participation of 40 countries around the world. After eight years, the number of contestants has doubled.

Vietnam has sent many representatives to the beauty contest. In 2009, Chung Thuc Quyen finished in the Top 15, along the way she was awarded first in the national costume and beautiful face contests, and won the highest votes in the internet poll. 

In 2011, the Vietnamese representative, Daniela Nguyen Thu May, was named in the Top 3 of the pageant.
