The festival will run from January 1 to March 16, as a key cultural and tourism event that celebrates the peach tree - a symbol of vitality, spring, and traditional values in the borderland region.
The highlight of the festival is the grand opening ceremony on the evening of February 7, held along Hung Vuong Street in Luong Van Tri Ward. The event will feature dazzling performances by acclaimed artists.
Throughout the festival, a series of cultural, sports, and tourism activities will unfold across the province. Visitors can explore the Spring Flower Street and the peach blossom exhibition space, take part in a contest for the most beautiful peach tree, enjoy the bustling peach flower fair, join the “Peach Blossom Route” running race, or admire the artistic creativity in the 2026 Lang Son Peach Blossom Drawing Competition.
In addition, the festival will showcase diverse artistic and cultural events. These include a campaign to promote traditional ethnic costumes of Lang Son, a thematic exhibition on the cultural heritage of the UNESCO Global Geopark in Lang Son, the Lang Son Spring Press Fair 2026, a special music program titled “Sounds of Lang Son,” and a cultural exchange with an art troupe from Pingxiang (Guangxi, China).
Through the festival, the province aims to build a vibrant cultural and tourism space, promote its image, and boost local tourism, services, and economic development.
Visitors are also encouraged to explore Quynh Son Village, one of Vietnam’s two representatives recognized by the United Nations Tourism Organization (UN Tourism) as one of the “Best Tourism Villages in the World 2025.”
Located in Bac Son District, Quynh Son Village is home to over 400 traditional stilt houses with yin-yang tiled roofs, all facing south. The terraced rice fields embrace the valley, while local crafts such as bamboo weaving, brocade weaving, and the making of black Chung cakes remain preserved.
The Tay ethnic community here maintains a welcoming and harmonious way of life, staying true to their rich customs and traditions.
