Lao Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith and his spouse will pay an official friendly visit to Vietnam from May 15-17.

The visit is being made at the invitation of PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

The Lao National Assembly, the 8th tenure, elected Thongloun Sisolith as Prime Minister during its first session on April 20.

The Lao PM’s visit comes after Lao Party General Secretary and President Bounnhang Volachith made a trip to Vietnam from April 25-27.
