Many people gathered in public places in Hanoi and HCM City to see the so-called ‘supermoon’ as orbited Earth as close as it did in 1948.

In Hanoi, many young people came to My Dinh Stadium after dusk to see the special phenomenon.

The supersized moon appeared above high-rise buildings in the South-West of Hanoi

At 7.30 pm, the moon reached full with the size said to have 14% higher than that of the usual one.
