With the score tied at 80 points a piece, there was little to choose between Saigon Heat and CLS Knights Indonesia at CIS Arena in HCM City last night.

But the Heat’s Justin Young had other ideas.

With the clock ticking Young let fly and found the hoop, much to the delight of the home crowd watching this ASEAN Basketball League (ABL) clash.

It was the visitors who started the best, especially Maxie Esho who scored 12 times on the night.

In the first quarter, Murphy Burnatowski and Kyle Barone of Saigon Heat racked up 14 points but still the visitors led by six points.

In first 12 minutes, CLS Knights Indonesia led the game at 26-20. The guest team continued to control the game when they increased the gap between the two teams to 51-38.

The Heat managed to shorten the gap to 60-68.

Hughes continues to maintain his power when he earns another 13 scores for his team.
