Le Fruit Off-Road Triathlon, one of the country’s multi-sport events, will make a comeback for its 15th edition at Ho Tram Beach in the southern coast province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau on June 10.

A foreign athlete faces a challenge in Le Fruit Triathlon


Local and foreign competitors will have the opportunity to swim in the sea, cycle towards the rainforest and run along the beach. The multi-sport tournament will feature Sprinter, a 500-meter swim, a 20-kilometer mountain bike ride and a 5-kilometer beach run, and Rookie, a 100-meter swim, a 4-km mountain bike ride and a 3-km run.

In addition, there will also be a duathlon combining a 20-km mountain bike and a 5-km beach run.

At the end of the day, there will also be a barbecue dinner on the beach where participants and visitors will jointly share the joy of victory and enjoy the animated and vivid atmosphere.

The event, organized by Pulse Active, a HCMC-based professional organizer of renowned sport events such as HCMC Marathon, Color Me Run, and the Danang International Marathon, is named after the natural juice product Le Fruit.

Ho Tram’s pristine beach, which is in close proximity to an 11,000-hectare rainforest, is endowed with stunning and picturesque landscapes of sea and coral reefs. The area is about two hours from HCMC by car.
