Le Van Duan has won two awards at the national cycling tournament, Ben Tre Television Cup.

Duan of VUS-HCM City took the overall yellow jersey for the best overall time after six stages with a combined time of 21:48.31. He also grabbed the green jersey as the best sprinter.

The white jersey award as the best young cyclist belonged to Nguyen Hoang Giang of Loc Troi Group.

With suitable tactics, Domesco Pharmacy Dong Thap 1 defended their title in the team rankings with a time of 65:26.53. Loc Troi Group and VUS-HCM City came in second and third.

Ha wins hole-in-one prize

Golfer Pham Vinh Ha won the Hole-in-One prize at the Faros Golf Tournament which concluded in FLC Samson Golf Links course in Thanh Hoa Province yesterday.

He received a VND1.2 billion (US$53,000) luxury car and a smart swimming-poll valued at $25,000.

The two-day event attracted more than 300 golfers nationwide.

Part of the money will be used to support the local fund for poor people of Quang Cu Commune, Sam Son Town.
