President of Lebanon Michel Aoun said he will pay special attention to further enhancing the Vietnam-Lebanon ties in a recent meeting with Vietnamese Ambassador to Egypt and Lebanon Do Hoang Long.

The ambassador highlighted the development of the two countries’ relations in recent years, adding that the two sides have laid a solid foundation for bilateral cooperation in multiple fields, particularly trade.
The ambassador pledged he will do his utmost to bolster the bilateral ties towards multifaceted cooperation for the benefit of their people.
For his part, Aoun congratulated Long on his appointment as the Ambassador of Vietnam to Lebanon and spoke highly of the steps making by the two nations.
During the visit to Lebanon on April 26-29, Long also met with Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Gebran Bassil to discuss ways to boost bilateral partnership in the fields of foreign affairs, trade and economy, and labour.
