Hanoi has experienced a new cold snap with drizzle, causing certain difficulties for life of local residents.

Since this morning, December 27, the city has seen lower temperatures of around 12 degrees centigrade along with drizzle and low visibility.

The unfavourable weather worsened traffic congestion in many local streets this morning.

According to the National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting, the cold spell can last until the weekend with the average temperature ranging from 12 to 18 degrees centigrade.
