Pianist Nguyen Thi Uyen Sa, violinist Ho Dang Hoi and string artists from the HCMC Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera and HCMC Conservatory of Music will contribute world’s popular pieces to the Swinging Melodies concert held by the Saigon Classic at 7:30 p.m. on June 18 in HCMC’s District 1.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Serenade in G major, K. 525 “Eine Kleine Nachtmusik” will be performed by the String Group and Ludwig Van Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No 2 in B-flat major, Op. 19

Arrangement for Piano and String quintet: Von Vinzens Lachurer will be played by pianist Nguyen Thi Uyen Sa and the String Group.

During the second half of the show, Sa will perform Henry Cowell’s Three Irish Legends and join violinist Ho Dang Hoi in two pieces, Nocturne No. 20 in C-sharp minor, Op. posth by Frédéric Chopin and Zigeunerweisen, Op. 20 by Pablo De Sarasate.

The show will be wrapped up by Franz Liszt’s Hungarian Rapshody No. 2, S 244 and Astor Piazzolla’s Libertango by Nguyen Thi Uyen Sa and secondo pianist Mr. X and the String Group.
