VietNamNet Bridge – The Long Thanh International Airport, once it is built, would help solve the problems which Tan Son Nhat airport cannot--Minister of Transport Dinh La Thang said before the electorate.

 VietNamNet Bridge – Many voters expressed their distress about the golf course to be built in Tan Son Nhat Airport and protested the plan to construct Long Thanh Airport in a meeting with National Assembly (NA) deputies in HCMC last week.

The Ministry of Transport insists on the development of Long Thanh airport in Dong Nai province to ease the burden on Tan Son Nhat airport in HCM City. However, the project has not been applauded.

VietNamNet Bridge – The Ministry of Transport on Sunday, Aug 18, said in a report to the Government that the construction of Long Thanh Airport is vital, answering requests from former aviation manager Le Trong Sanh and former pilot Mai Trong Tuan.

Airports Corporation of Vietnam on Monday requested related parties to accelerate the development of Long Thanh International Airport in Dong Nai to ease the burden on the operational Tan Son Nhat International Airport.
