Nam, who jumped to the world’s No 933 spot will enter the main round of the tournament and will meet his Indian rival Hardeep Singh Sandhu, who ranked No 1,727 in the world rankings. It is predicted that Nam can easily win victory over the Indian rival to secure berth in the next rounds.   

However, in the Indian F2 Futures last week, Nam was defeated by Bernardo Saraiva of Portugal, who ranks just No 1,629.

Hot weather will be a challenge for Nam in the match this afternoon. If Nam does not reap positive results in the tournament, he will slide the top 1000 sooner or later.
