Vietnam’s top tennis player Ly Hoang Nam dropped out of the International Tennis Federation Men's Futures F2 in Anning City, losing in the men’s singles first round match to Tak Khunn Wang of France.

Hoang Nam was overwhelmed right from the start in the first set by Wang, seeded No 8, losing 6-1, but made an impressive resurgence in the second set with the score of 6-4.

In the decisive set, Wang displayed his superior international experience, defeating Nam, 2-1 to secure the win.

Hoang Nam will now fly back to Vietnam to join the national team in preparation for the 2016 Asia-Pacific Davis Cup.
