Vietnam top tennis player Ly Hoang Nam fell to Vishnu Vardhan of India on May 12 in the quarter-finals round of the India F3 Futures tennis tourney.

Nam, world No 933, was defeated in three sets 6-3, 3-6, 2-6 by the world No 443 and No 1 seed Vardhan at this year’s event in two hours and two minutes of play.

Earlier, in the second round, the 19-year-old Nam prevailed in the first set against No 5 seed Sidharth Rawat from India 6-3 before the Indian forfeited due to a serious physical problem in the second.
