Vietnamese top tennis player Ly Hoang Nam has jumped six places to No. 586 in the world in the latest ATP rankings for men’s tennis singles, published on Monday (May 8).
The young right-hander rose from No. 592 despite a loss last week to world No. 328 Hubert Hurkacz from Poland in the qualifying round of Seoul Challenger 2017 in the Republic of Korea.
Meanwhile, Nguyen Hoang Thien stayed at No. 1,426 while Trinh Linh Giang dropped one step to No. 1,640.
Top seed Andy Murray remained in the top spot in the ATP rankings.
In the men’s doubles rankings, both Ly Hoang Nam and Nguyen Hoang Thien dropped to No. 548 and No. 777, respectively.
