Ly Hoang Nam and Sun Fajing advanced to the quarter-finals of the China F12 Men’s Futures tennis tournament in Shenzhen City on Monday.

Ly Hoang Nam and partner Sun Fajing book berth in the quarter-finals of the China F12 Men’s Futures.

The No 3 seed pair defeated Wong Chun-hun and Wong Hong Kit of Hong Kong 6-2, 7-5 in the first round match.

They will next play Rhett Purcell and Kelsey Stevensen, a pair of British and Canadian, on Wednesday.

In the same day, Nam will play qualifier Wang Aorang of the host in the singles event’s second round.

Nam is No 6 seed at the US$25,000 tournament which will close on Sunday.
