The 19-year-old player didn’t play any events in the pastweek but his rankings still rose.
The tennis player aims to enter the top 800 world rankingsthis year. Nam, born in the southern Tay Ninh Province, was already ranked 870thin the world in April by 883rd last week.
Nam won the boys’ doubles category at the 2015 WimblendonChampionships along with his Indian partner Sumit Nagal, becoming the firstVietnamese tennis player to win a Grand Slam trophy.
