The Most Popular Vietnamese Film award was presented to animated films such as "The Carp of the Kitchen God", "The Funny Lion Dance Troupe," and "The Unique Sweet Potato Village".

The Best Actor award in the Vietnamese film category was given to Thai Hoa, who faced strong competition from Doan Quoc Dam and Vo Dien Gia Huy.

In the Asian film category, the Best Film award went to "Cu li khong bao gio khoc" (Cu Li Never Cries" (Vietnam). The Best Screenplay was given to "Valued Lives" by Chinese director and screenwriter Liu Jiayin. The Best Actor went to Kang Ren Wu for "Fly Me to the Moon," and the Best Actress was given to Yuumi Kawai for "The Life of An" (Japan). The Best Director was presented to Pham Thien An (Vietnam) for "Inside the Yellow Cocoon Shell."

At the ceremony, Dr. Ngo Phuong Lan, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Film Development Association and Director of the Da Nang Asian Film Festival, praised the significant progress of DANAFF II in terms of diversity and quality of the two categories, as well as the selected films for screening, especially the French Cinema Focus and the selection of movies by People's Artist Dang Nhat Minh.

Tran Chi Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee, emphasized that DANAFF II, with the theme "Asian Bridge," brought a vibrant week of cinema to the city. This is the second time Da Nang has successfully organized this international film event.

"Not only does it gather and honor outstanding cinematic works, but DANAFF II also aims to create a space to nurture and cultivate talent – ​​an important beginning in establishing a cinematic ecosystem.
