Police in the north-central Vietnamese province of Nghe An announced a 31 year old Bui Van Ba who was seen riding a motorcycle with his feet in a video that went viral on social media over the weekend received an administrative fine of VND7,150,000 ($314).

Before, as Sai Gon Giai Phong newspaper article released, a nearly one minute long footage was uploaded to social media, capturing a man riding a motorcycle with his feet while using his phone at the same time. 

The motorbike’s license plate number BKS 37F2 – 507.31 was seen clearly in the video clip

The clip has attracted thousands of comments and shares which all expressed their opposition regarding the reckless and dangerous action of the man.

After verifying the man in the clip, police in Dien Chau District called on Bui Van Ba and imposed a fine of VND7,150,000 for violations.
