Previously, Phuc said that he would consider calling Michal Nguyen to the national team the next time. However, the coach still gave this midfielder an opportunity to practice with the team.

But in the end, after only two matches, Michal has been added to the official list and he will almost certainly join the Vietnam team at the Asian Cup 2015 qualifier round.

"Michal has demonstrated his professionalism, determination and expertise. The Vietnam team is in need of players who are tall, big and well trained as Michal Nguyen. That's why I have given the opportunity to him," Phuc explained about his decision.

The dream to return to the national team of Michal Nguyen has become a reality very sooner than his expectation. In the two friendly matches against Hai Phong and Ha Noi T&T, Michal showed of his qualities.

Before the games, Michal told the media that he was completely confident that he would be retained with the national team otherwise he would have not returned to Vietnam.

Another overseas Vietnamese player, Mac Hong Quan, will continue practicing with the team.

Tomorrow, January 31, the national team will play a friendly game against Hyundai Mipo Club of South Korea at the Hang Day Stadium in Hanoi.
