Hanoi FC midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai has surpassed the milestone of 100 appearances in the V.League 1.

His appearance against Quảng Ninh Coal at the weekend, marked 101 games for Hải in the national premiere league.

But Hải could do little to prevent the defending champions lose by three goals to one, which saw Hà Nội drop to eighth place.

Although a forgettable match for Hà Nội+but for Hải, this match helped him reach a memorable milestone when he officially surpassed the 100-game mark in the national top flight league.

Hải was promoted to the senior team of Hà Nội in 2014 and made his debut with the first team two years later. Since then, the 22-year-old has been a regular for the capital city team in the V.League 1, National Cup and AFC Cup.

Last season, he played 42 games and scored 11 goals to help Hà Nội win the title,  National Cup, National Super Cup as well as reached to the final of AFC Cup Inter-Zone Final. — VNS
