Military forces have been imposing all necessary security measures to ensure safety and security for DPRK-USA Hanoi Summit Vietnam, slated for Feb. 27-28.

Around 10,000-15,000 military officers have been deployed to ensure security for the summit between US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Hanoi.

The military and local authorities worked together to review the plans and inspect the hotels, meeting locations and other areas for the meeting that will be held on February 27-28. They have to make sure that the communication network will work well on the designated routes and important locations.

On February 24, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc met with related ministries and agencies about the meeting. On the same day, the special force was also seen to carry out explosive detection work inside the JW Marriott Hotel.

He said it was an honour to be chosen as the meeting location for an important meeting that concerns both the regional and world peace.
