VietNamNet Bridge – This morning Minister of Information and Communications Truong Minh Tuan examined the APEC International Media Center in Da Nang.

At the media center, Minister Truong Minh Tuan carefully examined security tasks, transmission lines and infrastructure systems for thousands of Vietnamese and international reporters.

The Minister emphasized that telecommunication infrastructure providers should ensure the best quality of services, as at the peak period there would be more than 3,000 correspondents working at the center.

Around the main building are renovated landscaping and gardens. The total area is over 131,000 m2, including nearly 14,000 m2 of renovated floor area.

The total investment of the project was VND178.8 billion, ensuring many functions such as reception hall, security room, health center, multi-purpose room, control center, press conference, service room and other auxiliary areas; dining area, self-service kitchen, computer network maintenance room, room for staff and volunteers ...

Leaving the APEC international media center, the Minister paid a visit to the Intercontinental Hotel, which hosted senior delegates.

After that, the Minister went to the Da Nang Airport to welcome the delegation of Papua New Guinea. The Minister later visited and worked at VTV8.

The Minister also held a meeting with the Philippines delegation.
