On the morning of October 27, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Ethnic and Religious Affairs, Central Party Committee member, Party Secretary, and Minister of the Ministry Dao Ngoc Dung chaired a conference to announce and present decisions on the reassignment and appointment of senior officials.

Also in attendance were Y Vinh Tor, Alternate Member of the Central Committee and Deputy Party Secretary, and Deputy Minister of the Ministry; Cam Van Thanh, Special Deputy Party Secretary; members of the Standing Committee; and representatives from various departments and units under the Ministry.

During the event, Ha Trong Nghia, Deputy Head of the Party Committee’s Organizational Committee, announced two key decisions:

Decision No. 16-QD/DU to reassign and appoint Dao Xuan Quy, currently Deputy Director of the Policy Department, as Chief of the Party Office, effective from November 1, 2025.

Decision No. 15-QD/DU to appoint Trinh Van Tan, currently a staff member at the Party Office, as Deputy Chief of the Party Office, also effective from November 1, 2025.

Minister Dao Ngoc Dung presented the decisions and congratulated the newly appointed officials. He emphasized that the appointments were a timely and necessary step to strengthen the Party Office’s structure. He noted the importance of the Party Office’s role and praised Dao Xuan Quy for being a dynamic, well-trained, and experienced official. He also commended Trinh Van Tan, a young officer with a background in the military, for his diligence and cautious approach to work.

The Minister highlighted that both appointments were well-aligned with the job requirements and followed a strict procedural process. He acknowledged the performance of the Party Office, Party committees, and the Policy Department in supporting the ministry's organizational development.

Assigning responsibilities to the new appointees, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung stressed the importance of their leadership in enhancing the effectiveness of the Party Office. He called for a high sense of responsibility, proactive innovation, and precise, concise, and timely advisory work under the principle: “say less, write short, but with high quality.”

He further asked the new leadership to play a strong coordinating role and to improve operational methods with a focus on professionalism and caution.

In his speech, Dao Xuan Quy expressed his honor in being entrusted with the new role. He affirmed his understanding of the importance of the Party Office as the advisory and executive unit for the Party Committee, particularly the Standing Committee and Secretariat, and its role in coordinating with other departments and consolidating strategic information for Party leadership.

Similarly, Trinh Van Tan expressed his gratitude and sense of responsibility. Both appointees pledged their utmost effort to maintain the tradition of unity, discipline, and creativity within the Party Office and requested continued support from Party and ministry leaders as well as staff and members.
