Rashmita Rasindran from Malaysia shone brightest, earning the title of Miss Charm 2024. The 1.82-meter-tall beauty, with measurements of 90-66-92.5 cm, impressed judges with her radiant smile, glowing skin, and confidence.
Rasindran, a professional in design and media, was followed by Australia’s Alana Deutsher-Moore as the first runner-up. Deutsher-Moore, 22, is a model and actress with an impressive presence in showbiz.
Vietnam’s Quynh Nga rounded out the top three as second runner-up. Born in 1995, Quynh Nga holds a Bachelor’s degree from Foreign Trade University and is pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration in the U.S. She has previously earned titles such as Miss University Vietnam 2017 runner-up and a top 10 finalist at Miss World Vietnam 2019.
The evening began with outgoing Miss Charm 2022, Luma Russo, delivering an emotional farewell speech during her final walk. Her heartfelt words set a reflective tone before she passed the crown to her successor.
The announcement of the top three finalists - Malaysia, Australia, and Vietnam - was preceded by a sand art performance by artist Hong Minh, depicting their faces on stage.
The three finalists faced a final question round, which tested their intellect and ability to inspire.
Quynh Nga was asked about the role of tourism in preserving culture. She confidently responded, "Tourism is vital in preserving culture. It motivates locals to cherish their heritage and share it with visitors, driving economic growth. I believe this creates a positive cycle that underscores the importance of tourism in cultural preservation."
Rasindran from Malaysia answered a question on how to encourage cultural preservation activities, while other finalists tackled topics like the importance of art, family, and the influence of beauty.
The finale began with the top 20 contestants, including representatives from Vietnam, Malaysia, Colombia, Australia, Indonesia, and other nations.
After the swimsuit competition, the top 10 finalists were announced, followed by an evening gown segment where auxiliary awards were revealed.
Quynh Nga won Best Interview and Best National Costume, adding to her accolades as second runner-up.
