Thanh Thao recently completed her degree in Marketing at Bentley University - one of the most prestigious institutions for business and finance education in the United States - graduating with distinction and a cumulative GPA of 3.8/4.0.

What makes her achievement especially remarkable is that she completed her bachelor’s degree while actively serving as the reigning Miss Ocean Vietnam 2025 - a demanding balancing act that few could manage. Throughout her final academic year, Thanh Thao constantly traveled between Vietnam and the United States to keep up with her studies while carrying out her responsibilities as a beauty queen.

Despite dealing with time zone differences, senior-year pressure and growing public attention, she chose not to defer her studies. Instead, she persevered and graduated on schedule with outstanding results.

During the graduation ceremony, the 24-year-old drew attention by wearing a sash featuring Vietnam’s red flag with a yellow star over her graduation gown - creating a striking and pride-filled image far from home.

Thanh Thao’s educational journey in the US extended well beyond the classroom. From the beginning, she earned a 50% entrance scholarship and consistently maintained excellent academic performance. At the same time, she joined an exchange program at Yonsei University in South Korea and completed an internship at a media company in Shanghai, China.

These international experiences helped her develop strategic brand-thinking skills and the confidence to navigate global business environments.

Beyond her academic accomplishments, Thanh Thao is also known for speaking four languages fluently - Vietnamese, English, Korean and Chinese. She frequently shares stories about international student life on social media, discussing everything from the pressure of adapting abroad to lessons in personal growth, inspiring many young followers along the way.

“Four years studying abroad in the US have been a deeply transformative journey. The greatest value I gained was learning independence and gaining a clearer understanding of who I want to become in the future,” she shared emotionally.

After returning to Vietnam, Thanh Thao said she plans to focus on artistic activities while continuing her mission as Miss Ocean Vietnam through community projects. She also revealed plans to pursue a master’s degree in the near future, adding: “Knowledge is an essential foundation that helps women become more confident and grow stronger every day.”
