Pham Huong, the Vietnamese representative at the Miss Universe pageant this year, has been accused of having plastic surgery.

The Missosology forum posted two photos of Pham Huong, one newly shot and one shot during her participation in Vietnam’s Next Top Model 2010 with a comment saying Huong must have undergone plastic surgery to have such beautiful face now.

The post received lots of comments many of which expressed surprise over her transformation and suggested the Vietnamese entrant must have had a plastic surgery.

Huong is performing well at the Miss Universe this year and the Vietnamese representative had been among the hot picks on the Missosology website.

There were allegations Huong had surgery done to her jaw to slim its profile prior to the final round of the Miss Universe Vietnam 2015 pageant in October, but the organisers said they had found no evidence.

The 24 year-old beauty has continually asserted that she was carefully checked by experts in anthropometry, along with other contestants, so there are no grounds to say she had cosmetic surgery.

“The checking process was conducted in front of many people. If there had been anything wrong, the organisers would have been the first to raise their concern,” she then told local media.

Explaining why her jaw has changed, Huong said it resulted from makeup techniques, her improved fashion style, and her effort to keep in shape by exercising every day.

Huong, who comes from the northern city of Hai Phong and is now a university lecturer in HCM City, won the crown. She also claimed the Sea Pageant Title.
