In episode 5 of Miss Universe Vietnam 2024, aired on September 8, 29 contestants competed in the swimwear and evening gown segments. Ky Duyen stood out with her energetic curly hair and confidently showcased her fit physique in a white bikini.

For the evening gown segment, she appeared both elegant and alluring in a red dress with a daring cut. The 2014 Miss Vietnam was praised for her progress and confidence in this round.

After the segments, Ky Duyen expressed her gratitude to the audience, saying: "Today's performance was enhanced by your support. I feel truly uplifted. All contestants have given their best in these segments."

Vu Tuy Quynh opened both segments with a confident presence in swimwear and a sophisticated elegance in the evening gown segment. Paris Bao Nhi was noted as a standout contestant, increasingly meeting Miss Universe standards.

Quynh Anh made a strong impression, convincing the judges with her sizzling curly hair in the swimwear segment and a revealing red evening gown.

Despite being a first-time pageant participant, Mlee made a notable breakthrough, showcasing an attractive physique in both segments.

Ky Duyen, Mlee, Tra My, Doan Tuong Linh, and Quynh Anh made it to the top 5 of the episode. Mlee emerged as the winner of episode 5.

With five episodes aired, the winners of each challenge are: Nguyen Quynh Anh (Episode 1 - Image Round), Doan Thi Thu Ha (Episode 2 - Independence Round), Dinh Thi Trieu Tien (Episode 3 - Intelligence Round), Vu Tuy Quynh and Do Thu Ha (Episode 4 - Inspiration Round), and Mlee (Episode 5 - Influencing Beauty). As of now, Ky Duyen has yet to win any challenge.
