No registered bids have been forthcoming for the more than 33 million SeABank shares currently on sale by MobiFone, with the bidding session planned for April 25 therefore being cancelled, according to the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX).

No bids registered by deadline, with proposed bidding on April 25 being cancelled. 

Under plans for MobiFone’s divestment from SeABank, the time for investor to register for bidding ended at 3.30 pm on April 21.

MobiFone had planned to sell over 33 million SeABank shares (6.12 per cent of its capital) at an offering price of VND9,600 ($0.43) per share.

Meanwhile, HNX also reported on the results of registrations for TPBank shares being sold by MobiFone. Six investors registered to buy over 8.7 million shares, accounting for 61 per cent of the amount on offer. Two institutional investors registered to buy 200 shares and four individuals registered to buy over 8 million shares.

The bidding session for TPBank shares will be held on April 25 with an offering price of VND8,900 ($0.4) per share. Over 14 million shares are on offer.
