The second summit between U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is slated to take place on February 27 and 28, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Thousands of journalists are expected to come to Vietnam to cover the event.
The PEACE package costs VND500,000. Accordingly, customers will be offered 100 minutes for international calls and 300 minutes for phone calls on its internal mobile network, as well as 20GB of data on a high-speed Internet connection, when using the seven-day package.
Further, the package will allow international customers to freely access the Halo Vietnam website at https://www.halovietnam.vn, which provides tourism information.
PEACE is now available at Vietnam’s international airports, including Noi Bai, Tan Son Nhat and Danang, and at tourist sites in the cities of Hanoi, HCMC and Danang.
Apart from launching the package, MobiFone has stepped up preparations for its use, including checking and evaluating the network and the international roaming service and optimizing the quality of the network at some venues scheduled to host the event to ensure the carrier’s services will satisfy customers.
In addition, MobiFone has set up additional 4G stations and extended the bandwidth for over a hundred 3G and 4G stations to serve the upcoming event.
