In preparation for the Cruise 2024 collection launch, Vu Ngoc and Son conducted a fashion photoshoot at the Saigon railway station, where their show will also take place. The designers continue to promote their signature bright colors and personal style.
Vu Ngoc and Son are set to unveil 100 new designs, focusing on youthful and highly wearable pieces.
The collection emphasizes the free-spirited and romantic vibe of cruise fashion, using soft, feminine materials like silk and organza. Taffeta is also featured to balance softness with sharp lines.
The collection includes elegant tiered dresses, seductive maxi dresses, and sophisticated sets with intricate cuts and flowing skirts that celebrate women. The primary color is vibrant orange, with flamboyant floral patterns as the main inspiration.
After showcasing at locations like docks, post offices, and museums, the designers hope that the Saigon railway station will become an attractive venue for their shows. Vu Ngoc and Son plan to honor and spread pride in national art through various projects.
"This is not the first time we've used the train journey motif in our fashion. However, this will be a multi-colored journey, reflecting the vibrant emotions of a youthful life. Presenting lace designs is part of our intention to blend the familiar with a new perspective," designer Dinh Truong Tung shared.
The team spent six months planning and discussing ideas, with support from local authorities and the management of the Saigon railway station. The show aims to honor the achievements of Vietnam's railway industry and the beauty and modernity of this site.
The designers utilized lace to create youthful, feminine, and sensual looks while maintaining a modern edge.
