At least three people were killed at 11pm on Wednesday after a motorbike hit a truck in a head-on collision on Hanoi's Vinh Tuy Bridge.

The driver of Toyota Camry who injures at least three people on Wednesday night in Hai Phong City.

The accident occurred when the motorbike, with three people on it travelling in the opposite direction, reportedly encroached upon the truck’s lane.

The top portion of the truck was damaged in the incident while the motorbike flew dozens of metres and was completely destroyed.

Local police are investigating the case.

Also on Wednesday night, in northern Hai Phong City, another accident occurred when a Toyota Camry car with registered plate 15A 266-55 injured at least three people and damaged three vehicles on Trung Luc Street.

At first, the car, being driven at a high speed, crashed into a motorbike driver on the street, but the car driver did not stop and continued driving very fast, slamming into two pedestrians. 

The vehicle then went on to hit two cars parked along the pavement.

The injured were taken to Hai An District Hospital for treatment. The 34-year-old car driver is from Hai An District in Hai Phong City.

The case is under investigation.
