NAB Innovation Centre Vietnam, owned by the National Australia Bank (NAB), marks its four-year anniversary with significant achievements that underscore its unwavering commitment to excellence and technological innovation.

Since its establishment in 2019, NAB Innovation Centre Vietnam has grown from strength to strength, becoming a key player in the technology landscape. Today, the center proudly boasts three offices in Vietnam and has almost doubled in size in the past 18 months. 

The journey of NAB Innovation Centre Vietnam has been nothing short of remarkable, with a focus on tapping into Vietnam's rich pool of technology talents. This endeavor has enabled the center to help NAB deliver great digital experiences to its ten million customers.

Double victory

This year, NAB Innovation Centre Vietnam received two prestigious international awards. The first accolade, the "Fast Enterprise" award, was bestowed upon the Centre in October 2023 during the Asia Pacific Enterprise Awards (APEA), organized by Enterprise Asia. APEA is an accolade that celebrates exceptional businesses and leaders, recognizing their remarkable achievements and significant contributions to the community. NAB Innovation Centre Vietnam's recognition with the "Fast Enterprise" award reflects its remarkable growth and dedication to progress.

The second accolade is the "Great Place to Work" certification, a testament to the Centre's commitment to creating an exceptional colleague experience, fostering professional growth, and ensuring a positive working atmosphere for its team members in Vietnam.

Investing in human development

In addition to its significant growth and industry recognition, NAB Innovation Centre Vietnam is committed to nurturing young talents. The Centre is always focusing on developing the skills of the next generation in the technology sector. To achieve this, the Centre has partnered with various universities and Passerelles numériques Vietnam, offering 120 recent graduates the opportunity to pursue their tech career path. Practical experiences, real-world exposure to industry advancements, and hands-on engagement with modern technology are at the core of this initiative.

Furthermore, NAB Innovation Centre Vietnam is dedicated to enhancing professionalism within the banking industry. Over 100 Vietnamese staff have already attained the Career Qualified in Banking certification through the Career Qualified in Banking (CQiB) program accredited by FINSIA.
