V.League 1 newcomers Nam Dinh have signed Trinidadian forward Neil Benjamin ahead of the upcoming football season.

The 23-year-old striker began his career in 2011, aged 17, with W Connection FC in his native Trinidad and Tobago. Benjamin won the TT Pro League title twice and the FA Trophy in 2013-14 during a seven year spell with the team.
Benjamin has represented Trinidad and Tobago at various levels of international competition, having been capped for the U17 and U20 teams.
Earlier, Nam Dinh also signed Henry Shackiel from Trinidad and Tobago. Shackiel played for Song Lam Nghe An last year and scored six goals.
The league this year will begin on March 10, with Nam Dinh opening their campaign against Can Tho.
Dai appointed as chairman of Saigon FC

Tran Tien Dai has been appointed chairman V.League 1 club Saigon FC.
Dai replaced Nguyen Giang Dong, who retired after the 2017 season ended.
Dai played for Viet Nam and U20 level, then managed Vissai Ninh Bình and Saigon Xuan Thanh.
The 52-year-old led Saigon Xuan Thanh to the National First Division title in 2011, securing promotion to the national premier league in 2012.
For the past four years, Dai took a break from football after Xuan Thanh were dissolved in 2013.
