VietNamNet Bridge – HCM City have launched a new bus route (No. 109) from 23/9 Park in District 1 to the Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Tan Binh District.

This is a luxury bus route to serve passengers from Tan Son Nhat Airport to the city’s center, with a total distance of 10.4 km, 110 trips/day, using 63-seat buses with air-conditioners.

The buses are available from 5.45am to 1.30am of the next day to serve passengers of the last flights.

All six new yellow buses used on this route were imported from Korea.

The fares for passengers traveling less than 5km is VND12,000 and VND20,000 for the distance of over 5km.

The current bus route from Trung Son residential area in District 8 to Tan Son Nhat Airport does not attract passengers, particularly tourists.

The introduction of the No. 109 bus route is expected to reduce traffic congestion around the airport and give tourists one more choice.

- 23-9 Park - Le Lai - Ben Thanh Roundabout - Pham Ngu Lao - Yersin - Tran Hung Dao - Ben Thanh station - Le Loi - Pasteur - Vo Thi Sau - Nam Ky Khoi Nghia - Nguyen Van Troi - Phan Dinh Giot – Truong Son - Tan Son Nhat International Airport (domestic terminal) – Truong Son - Tan Son Nhat International Airport (International terminal).

- Tan Son Nhat International Airport (International Terminal) - Tan Son Nhat International Airport (Domestic Terminal) – Truong Son - Tran Quoc Hoan - Lang Cha Ca Roundabout - Hoang Van Thu - Nguyen Van Troi - Nam Ky Khoi Nghia - Nguyen Dinh Chieu - Cach Mang Thang 8 - Pham Hong Thai - Le Lai - Ben Thanh Roundabout - Ben Thanh station - Pham Ngu Lao - 23-9 Park.

The color of the buses is yellow, different from other buses, which are painted in green.   The bus can serve up to 70 passengers.    A tourist from Hungary.
